Cosmetic dentistry is the process of making alterations to your smile to create an aesthetically pleasing result. Our goal is to give you a radiant smile that will last a lifetime.

Cosmetic dentistry has the ability to correct crooked teeth, spaces between your teeth, stained or discolored teeth, chipped teeth, broken or missing teeth and more. Each smile is unique, which means every process and method will be different. Dr. Myers creates a customized treatment plan for you, based on your age and goals for your teeth, as well as your finances.  We are excited to work with you.

Porcelain Veneers

Imagine a whiter, more brilliant smile! Porcelain veneers are cosmetic dentistry that make a dramatic difference in the appearance of your teeth. If you have chipped teeth, crooked teeth, gaps between teeth or dull or stained teeth, veneers may be the perfect solution for you. After a little tooth preparation, Dr. Myers will bond and shape thin porcelain veneers to the front surface of your teeth, creating a straight, brilliant smile that enhances your appearance and your self esteem.

Tooth Whitening

Your teeth can turn yellow or darken over time through no fault of your own. Normal eating and drinking may cause stains to build up over the years. You may have even tried grocery store whitening toothpastes, gels, and strips without success. Consider a professional alternative instead.

There are two main methods to get excellent results: a custom home tooth whitening kit or an in-the-office procedure.

We offer take-home whitening trays with powerful treatments to help lighten your teeth. These whitening systems typically produce excellent results, and you’ll begin to notice the effects relatively quickly. We are also available to offer guidance and answer any of your whitening questions.

Tooth-Colored Fillings

When the decay has been taken out of the tooth, it is replaced with “filling” material. These areas of decay need to be filled to keep infection from setting in and to preserve your teeth but you don’t have to endure unattractive silver fillings. Instead, you can choose tooth-colored composite fillings. These fillings blend in with your tooth and are barely noticeable, allowing you to preserve your unblemished smile.

Porcelain Crowns

If you have one tooth, or several teeth, that are damaged due to wear and tear, injury or decay, porcelain crowns may be the solution that heals your smile.

A crown will reinforce a decayed or injured tooth and help to prevent further damage. Additionally, crowns can give cracked, chipped, and discolored teeth an attractive new appearance. We will provide custom crowns to address existing problems and avoid further issues.

Porcelain Bridges

Sometimes gum disease, injury, decay or simply everyday wear results in the loss of a tooth. A missing tooth or teeth can create significant problems for your dental health if not corrected. Over time your bite pressure may shift to other parts of your mouth to compensate for an inability to chew efficiently in the area of the missing tooth. Neighboring teeth may begin to move into the open area and result in discomfort, pain and more problems down the road. Bridges made of porcelain “bridge the gap” in your smile. Dr. Myers can create a lifelike, functional bridge to correct your smile, restore your bite and alleviate your discomfort.

A bridge from Dr. Myers is metal free and made from biocompatible porcelain. Dr. Myers utilizes the teeth on both sides of the gap as the bridges supportive structure. After some preparation of the two neighboring teeth, crowns are created for them. A porcelain tooth is fused between the crowns to replace your missing tooth, completing your smile and restoring comfortable, natural function.

It is possible to straighten your teeth without metal braces. Invisalign™ is an FDA approved system that uses clear, removable aligners to incrementally straighten your teeth. There are no uncomfortable brackets or wires, and because you remove the aligners to eat and drink, there are no food restrictions or problems with brushing or flossing.

How does it work?

Invisalign™ uses 3D computer imaging to map out your entire treatment plan in advance, allowing you to see what your teeth will look like before you begin treatment. Then, using the imaging, a series of custom aligners are created that will move teeth incrementally. You will replace each aligner every two weeks with the next aligner in the sequence. Average treatment time from initial teeth position to brilliant, straight smile ranges from 9 to 15 months. The best part is, most people will never notice that you are undergoing treatment!
